Dalai Lama in New York

As part of a widely publicized visit to the US, during which he gave talks on healing and the functions of Buddhism, the Dalai Lama spent time in New York City. The biggest event there was a gathering in Central Park, I believe in the Sheep Meadow area. The presentations including a talk by the Dalai Lama occupied about two hours, and we examined the data during that time, from about 2:00 to 4:00 PM, EDT.

The trace has a slight positive trend but it clearly is essentially random, with many small spikes, and a very modest positive terminal value. The Chisquare is 7222.2 on 7200 df, yielding p = 0.424.
